If you're checking out this page, it's probably safe to assume that you are already listening to and enjoying Cas Lucas' music and are wondering how you can help spread the word. This basically means that you rock! It's up to true music fans like you which artists "make it" and which ones never get exposed to the worldwide audience they deserve.

There is no minimum time requirement, and we appreciate any and all efforts on our behalf, so you really have nothing to lose. There are no "dues" or required financial contributions involved either!

** Rock Star Perks: Reps will be routinely selected for guest list admission and backstage passes to select Cas Lucas shows. (hang with the band etc)

** Resume Builder/Music Industry Experience: This is a great way to learn the music biz and make contacts inside the industry.

Rep Ideas:

As a Cas Lucas Rep, there are several different areas of promotion that you can get involved with, and, again, how involved you get and how much time you spend is completely up to you. Much of the "work" our active Reps are doing falls into the following basic groups...

1. Online Promotion: Talking up Cas' music on MySpace and other artists' message boards. We can also send you banners to get a Cas Lucas presence going on your MySpace profile or website. Email reps@caslucas.com to request a banner, even if you're not a registered Cas Lucas Rep.

2. Grass Roots, Word of Mouth Promotion: Tell a friend, burn them a cd or email an MP3, have them tell a friend, etc. You can email reps@caslucas.com to request a flyers, stickers, or other promo materials, even if you're not a registered Cas Lucas Rep.

3. Cas Lucas Tour Promotion: When Cas plays in your area (and more tours are coming soon!), you'll help us promote the event and helps get folks to come to the show through flyering, word of mouth promo, etc. You'll get free tickets and most likely get to go backstage and meet the band.

4. Radio Promotion: Help to Cas played on your local radio station. (or any cool station you know of, FM, Satellite, or Internet) We'll send you all the materials you need for this, and from there it's just a matter of making a few phone calls or emails. Visit this link for a list of stations that currently play Cas' music. Call and request his music at your favorite station... doing that a couple times can put Cas on somebody important's radar.

5. Promo at Concerts by Other Artists: Maybe you're going to a DMB, Jack Johnson, OAR, or Ben Harper show this year. (or any other artist/band whose fans might like Cas' music) We'll send you some flyers and stickers to hang up and/or hand out outside the show. Lots of our Reps have done this in the past, and it's a great way to make a bunch of new Cas fans in your area with just one hour's work... Especially if you're already going to the show!

And the list goes on....

It's all good progress, and we really encourage outside the box thinking from our Reps. Just get out there and do something, and we're psyched.
